I had heart attack and
ventricular defibrillation on Father's Day, 20 June 1999. I’m fortunate
to have survived and to tell you my story.
The greatest thing that
happens to me with i-bouncing is I have managed to lower and maintain my
resting heart rate from 70 to
62 to 56 bpm (beats per minute) within 6 months. Bouncing only
15 to 20 minutes per day! |

 |
Logically, a heart that
beats slower works less
than one that beats faster.
Having a partially ischaemic heart, it is better for me
to have a lower resting heart rate.
Hopefully, it will last a little longer :)
In any situation that we are in, we can choose to be bitter or better.
Having gone through the trauma of a near death heart attack, I know
Better is the Only Option.
I-Bouncing is more than an
exercise …
it’s FUN

Destin Tan's Story
I used to have a challenge with my weight. I was very conscious
about what I was wearing and I had to tuck out my shirt as I had a tummy
when I was just a young teenager. Being on the heavier side of the scale
result in a low confidence and believe it or not when I was studying in
the university, I got tired easily and fatigue plagued me.
In year 2004 September, I decided that I have to do something
about my challenge and decided to go for a change for the better. Within
2 months, I had a total transformation that I myself could hardly
believe. I lost most of my baby fats and my fats percentage drop from 18
to 10. On top of the physical changes, I also had a tremendous increase
in energy level and I was even able to complete my 1st
marathon in 2005. |

Making good health choices like i-bouncing has become part of my daily
routine. I started running during my university days. Due my busy work
schedule now, I cannot afford the luxury of spending an hour a day
jogging. I-BOUNCING, a fantastic exercise that works my whole body takes
only 20 minutes. It is a fun workout! It is even more fun when I bounce
with my family and friends!

From Wai Keen
"I have a
slight disc damage, and on days when I am feeling especially painful, I find
that even my normal brisk walking cause pain to my lower back.
The
impact of normal walking and jogging is absorbed by the rebounder.
Rebounding gives me a chance to have a light workout even when my problem is
really bad. "

66 year-old Mr Ow Tee Cheng on how i-bouncing relieves the ache on his
shoulder and knee
" I suffer from knee and
shoulder pain. I could not lift my right shoulder over my head . My knee
joint felt tight and I could not walk comfortably.
I was told that i-bouncing
or rebounding may help. Due to my age, I was initially hesitant about
bouncing on a rebounder. However with the encouragement of the coaches
at Club-i-Bounce, I learned how to do the
"Health Bounce" and "Soft Lifting Bounce"
After doing this
for 30 minutes per session, 5 times a week for about two months, I can
now lift my arm straight up without pain and my knee has also improved. I can walk freely without discomfort. Thanks to the coaches
at Club-i-Bounce for their encouragement. Now I'm enjoying exercise on
the i-bouncer and it is really fun!" |
